Matthew Personius, MD, is a family practice physician who specializes in caring for the elderly. His practice, Sierra Housecalls Medical Group, Inc., (SHMG) is focused on providing greater access to needed medical services for the elderly and homebound of Tuolumne County.
Dr. Personius graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1994 and completed his residency in family practice at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. After his residency, Dr. Personius and his family moved to Sonora in 1997 and he became Medical Director of the county run medical clinics. He now works fulltime making house calls for SHMG.
