Krista Howell, Exercise Physiologist, earned her degree in exercise physiology from California State University Chico and has been teaching cardiac rehabilitation and other wellness programs for 20 years. She currently teaches Sonora Regional Medical Center’s cardiac rehabilitation program and other fitness programs at Columbia College and the senior center in Sonora. Howell grew up in Sonora and has raised her two teenaged children here as well. She has maintained her own fitness throughout all of the busy years with her family by bringing her walking shoes to her kids’ sports events and other activities.
