Born a 10th generation Oregonian, (5 generations on each side) I have an enthusiasm for learning and teaching new things. After a ten year mini career in the dental field I moved on to research and embraced the social web. Though the internet is far too large for any one person to claim to be an expert, I can hold my own with the latest trends.
I enjoy researching and writing blogs. As the "Internet Program Director" for myMotherLode.com since 2008, I update the website and have a wide variety of interests. There is always something entertaining, educational or inspirational to share.

With AB 331, California high schools are looking to the New York times “1619 Project” of revisionist American history as a new part of the curriculum, mandating ethnic studies to “build new possibilities for post-imperial life that promotes collective narratives of transformative resistance.” Whatever that means. This would include writing a paper on events “that have led to Jewish and Irish Americans gaining racial privilege.” We’re sure that’ll be news to those who recall the infamous “Irish need not apply” signs in business windows at the turn of the century and also to those whose synagogues have been defaced or destroyed.10/5/20
