The recent leak of personal information of every gun permit applicant in California in the last ten years is an unconscionable security breach that needs to be investigated and prosecuted by the state’s Attorney General. We’ll see if Governor Newsome is truly concerned about the right to privacy and whether it applies to these particular California citizens.
In today’s contentious political and social environment, we quote civil rights activist Bayard Rustin, and this is true in any context: “We are all one, and if we don’t know it we will learn it the hard way.”
