Born a 10th generation Oregonian, (5 generations on each side) I have an enthusiasm for learning and teaching new things. After a ten year mini career in the dental field I moved on to research and embraced the social web. Though the internet is far too large for any one person to claim to be an expert, I can hold my own with the latest trends.
I enjoy researching and writing blogs. As the "Internet Program Director" for myMotherLode.com since 2008, I update the website and have a wide variety of interests. There is always something entertaining, educational or inspirational to share.
Iran has restarted and ramped up its uranium enrichment; China continues to crackdown on its citizen’s rights in Hong Kong and threatens Tawain’s independence; while Russia threatens Ukraine by mobilizing troops near its borders. The bad actors of the world clearly do not feel that the current administration is any threat to their aggressions. Sad, especially during this presumed season of peace.
In an interview in April of 2020, President Biden declared that long dead economist Milton Freidman “…isn’t running the show anymore.” That’s too bad given that Freidman called inflation a “hidden tax” and “taxation without representation.” Given Mr. Biden’s promise to not raise anyone’s taxes unless they were rich, he should rethink the policies that have given us more than 6% inflation or, as Friedman would claim, a 6% tax on the working, middle class. And this begins with scrapping the bloated “Build Back Better” bill.
