Born a 10th generation Oregonian, (5 generations on each side) I have an enthusiasm for learning and teaching new things. After a ten year mini career in the dental field I moved on to research and embraced the social web. Though the internet is far too large for any one person to claim to be an expert, I can hold my own with the latest trends.

The playing of the so-called “Black National Anthem” at NFL games this fall, thus creating a de facto separate nation within our borders, means that we have strayed a very long way from Martin Luther King’s vision of one nation of equality and have reversed the old, Jim Crow era “separate but equal” policy and replaced it with an “equal but separate” one. And that’s a travesty.
