Terre Stevens is a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in PET/CT exams at Sonora Regional Medical Center. Early in her career, Terre worked in management for Harley Davidson but after her mother died following a rapid and tragic battle with brain cancer, Terre decided she was not returning to Harley Davidson. She chose instead to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients.
Terre learned of the Nuclear Medicine program at the VA Palo Alto and Stanford Medical Center. She was accepted to the program and trained under Dr. George Segall. She has been working as a licensed Nuc Med Tech since 2003. Terre provides all of her patients with the level of care she would have liked for her mother. “I get to form relationships with my patients,” explains Terre. “I recently saw a patient who I first saw in 2006. Cancer patients can do very well and I get to see them come back.”
