Pets are allowed in the park but not in certified produce, food or dining areas. We love our furry friends but we DO have to follow and enforce health codes to stay in business. We have also had to break up dog fights as well as clean up dog messes. So for the health and safety of ALL guests, and respect for the museum grounds, pets are prohibited at this location with the exception of TRAINED, MEDICAL SERVICE animals. If you are not sure what qualifies as a trained medical service animal, we have a chart that explains it all and are happy to share it with you.

Outside alcohol and food:
Outside alcohol and ice chests/coolers are not permitted at the new location for a few reasons, but mainly because the Market Bar is our MAIN fundraiser and funds from beverage sales help to cover costs associated with the market including insurance, licensing, supplies, advertising and our Market Manager’s salary. We, the Angels Camp Business Association are a not-for-profit organization and we depend heavily on fundraising to produce the multiple community events that we host every year, especially the 17-week long Farmers Market. You also will find our beverage prices lower than any restaurant or bar.

We HAVE removed the “no outside food” policy after it was pointed out to us that there ARE families with little ones that don’t/can’t eat from a food truck/vendor and we certainly don’t want to tell parents that they can’t bring PB&J, snacks or juice boxes in to the Market for their kids to enjoy. We know it’s hard and costly to feed little ones, especially if they are picky eaters or have sensitivities. We do hope that Mom & Dad are encouraged to treat themselves to dinner and support the many wonderful food vendors that are joining us this year!

As we are all guests of the Museum, We need to be respectful of the grounds during the Market by not climbing on artifacts or equipment and by tossing all litter in the trash cans provided.

We have also partnered with local non-profit Creative Expressions to provide art & crafts and activities for the kids. Christina & her crew will be on hand with fun, free projects for kids and their tip jar will be out, so if you feel inclined, please show them some love to help offset the expenses incurred for these projects.

For those that still do not know, the reason we are at the Museum all started with the Angels Camp Community Club and their mission to replace broken playground equipment at Utica Park.

The seed for the project was planted, fundraising and grants were executed and now the plans are in motion. This project is the outcome of a lot of hard work and organization by dedicated parents, who then partnered with the City of Angels Camp administration to get the ball rolling. We thank them for their dedication and drive.

We look forward to the 2023 ACFM season. We have put a LOT of work into creating a positive FARMERS MARKET experience for our customers as well as a welcoming, profitable marketplace for our local farmers and vendors. We have a FULL line up this season and we hope the community chooses to support the Market and its vendors by shopping LOCAL.
