Kelly Gerkensmeyer, External Affairs Manager for the Calaveras County Water District (CCWD), will present an overview of the District’s history and its vital role in providing water and wastewater services to the community. In recognition of CCWD’s 80th Anniversary, his presentation will explore the District’s formation by local voters in 1946 and highlight the water resources, infrastructure, and community vision that have shaped eight decades of service in Calaveras County.
