Black Oak Casino Resort Announces Its
24th Annual Community Grab for Cash
10 Local Nonprofits and Charities Will Be Selected to Enter the Cash Cube and Grab up to $5,000 Each
TUOLUMNE, Calif. (September 24, 2026) — In its latest effort to help those in need and give back to the surrounding community, Black Oak Casino Resort will host its 24th annual Community Grab for Cash on Thursday, November 19, 2026. Ten local nonprofit organizations will be selected to participate in the event.
Black Oak Casino Resort gave away nearly $25,000 during last year’s Community Grab for Cash.
To submit an application for an organization to participate in this year’s event, entrants can visit blackoakcasino.com/plan/contact, select the “Community Grab for Cash” button, and complete all required fields. Organizations can also apply here. With the Monday, October 19, 2026, submission deadline quickly approaching, local nonprofit organizations are encouraged to apply now. Finalists will be notified by Monday, November 9, 2026. Questions about participation can be directed to sspence@blackoakcasino.com.
Each of the final 10 chosen groups will select a representative or employee to take a turn in Black Oak Casino Resort’s famous Cash Cube on November 19. Once the $5,000 in cash starts whirling around the inside of the cube, participants will be cheered on by supporters and Black Oak team members and will have 30 seconds to grab as much cash as they can. Since 2004, the Community Grab for Cash has donated well over $300,000 to deserving local organizations.
