Calaveras & Tuolumne Counties are fortunate to the the home of a bounty of wonderful wineries. Over 20 wineries have been invited to participate in the Copperopolis Community Center’s Annual “First Taste of the Year” in Copperopolis, a foothill tradition for 33 years. Ticket sales include a donation to restore and maintain the historic brick Church, Armory buildings, Historical Archives preservation and Annual Copperololis History Walk for 2nd and 4th grade students at Copper Elementary School.

Advance tickets will be on sale at Saddle Creek Golf Resort, Umpqua Bank and Century 21 Real Estate in Copperopolis. Ticket Prices are $15 in advance or $20 at the door and include an engraved souvenir wine glass (Copperopolis Volunteer Fire Brigade 23 from the 1800’s to present will be honored on the glass) Unlimited wine tasting, and a delicious hors d’ oeuvres display.
