Dear Community Partner, Disability Resources Agency for Independent Living’s (DRAIL) First Annual Disability Awareness Day is coming to the community on October 2, 2026. DRAIL is the state designated Independent Living Center through the CA Department of Rehabilitation serving individuals with disabilities in six of California’s counties (Tuolumne, Calaveras, Amador, Mariposa, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin Counties).
Our mission statement is to partner with individuals with disabilities, their families, and their support teams to increase their independence, advocate for their rights, and create fully inclusive communities. With our partners, we hope to build a successful and substantial event this upcoming fall to provide information and resources to individuals of all ages and with all types of disabilities in our community.
If you would like to attend the event, visit drail.org/disability-awareness-day where you can select the sponsorship package you would like to support with as a vendor or as an event sponsor. If you are not able to attend the event, we would appreciate your support with in-kind sponsorship, whether it is monetary or a donation of goods.
If you do donate with goods, we will need a receipt for the cost of the products so we can provide you with a receipt for your donation. Thank you in advance for your sponsorship. With your support you will be part of the work that DRAIL offers to the community. To provide supplemental services support and to help the people with disabilities live independently in our community.
