The League of Women Voters of the Motherlode will be holding a series of four Voter Forums to provide the public an opportunity to meet the candidates for local offices and hear their ideas about various local issues.
The fourth candidate forum will be held Thursday, May 7 at 6pm. Location is the Veterans Hall in Valley Springs. Candidates for Calaveras County District 5 are Clyde Clapp, Bruce Guidici, and Benjamin Stopper.

The first forum was held Thursday, April 23rd at 6pm at the Board of Supervisor’s chambers, 2 S.Green St., 4th floor, Sonora. The candidates for Superintendent of Schools are Zachary Abernathy and Gabe Wingo.
The second forum was held Wednesday, April 29th at 6pm. Location will be the Tuolumne Library at 480 Greenley Road, Sonora. The candidates for District 3 Supervisor are Anaiah Kirk and Tim McCaffrey.
The third forum was held Thursday, April 30 at 6pm. Location will be at the BOS chambers. The candidates for District 3 Supervisor are Ryan Campbell, Mark Brooks, Steve Green, Julie Healy, Diego Martinez, and Rayanne Tamayo.
