Motherlode Feral Cat Alliance (MFCA) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to humanely controlling the feral cat population in the Sierra Foothill region through TNR (trap/neuter/return). Our mission is to reduce overpopulation, prevent suffering, and promote coexistence between feral cats and the communities in which they live. We focus on spaying/neutering to prevent the birth of unwanted kittens, vaccinating for health, and returning the cats to the only home they have ever known.
Since our inception in 2022 we have financially assisted in spaying and neutering over 3600 feral and community cats throughout the Motherlode region. Our Memorial Day weekend garage sale will help us raise more funds to provide this valuable service to many more cats and the people who care for them.
