The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) invites you to participate in one of two public information sessions to share information about the upcoming release of the draft State Wildlife Action Plan (SWAP) 2025 and gather public input. Both sessions will include dedicated time for public questions.

The SWAP update presents an opportunity to conduct a progress evaluation and incorporate new information and lessons learned since 2015. CDFW will release a draft SWAP 2025 March 3rd and will seek public, partner, and tribal government review and comment. CDFW will be hosting two Public Information Sessions in March. During this time, CDFW SWAP Team will provide an overview of SWAP, including updates for 2025, and there will be an opportunity for members of the public to ask clarifying questions.
