Bike Trails in Yosemite National Park
Explore Yosemite on a bike with spectacular views of Yosemite Valley and flat easy trails. Over 12 miles of paved bike lanes take you to some of the most picturesque spots in the park. You will find that Yosemite Valley is predominantly flat, with an occasional mild incline, great for easy biking. Bike rental stands are open from spring through the fall (no winter rentals), weather permitting. For more information, call the Yosemite Lodge bike stand at (209) 372-1208. You can bring your own bicycle with you into the park as well.
For more serious rides go from the valley floor up to Tuolumne Meadows, a challenging hill climb of about 40 miles round trip, or to Glacier Point, another strenuous ride of about 40 miles round trip. Both are around 5,000 ft elevation. The return downhill is exhilarating!
