Okay Guys…let’s get cookin’!!!!

Want to impress your wife, mother, sister-in-law or yourself??? Well make this for breakfast and they will love ya for it…yummy!!!!

Amount Measure Ingredients
1 cup flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1/3 cup butter (or margarine)
1 cup finely chopped pecans (or walnuts)
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp flour
2 beaten eggs
2 Tbsp milk
1 Tbsp finely shredded orange peel
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped cranberries
1/2 cup coconut

To prepare:

In a medium bowl, mix together the 1 cup flour (perhaps you’ll need a pinch or two more) the 2 Tbl sugar, with a pastry cutter (or fork) cut in the butter (or margarine). Till it resembles course crumbs…this will seem dry. Because it is! Stir in 1/2 of the nuts. Now, press this mixture in the bottom of an ungreased 13x9x2 glass pan. Bake for 15 minutes @ 350.

Meanwhile
Combine the 1 & 1/4 cup sugar, the 2 Tbl flour. Stir in the eggs, milk, orange peel & vanilla. Fold in cranberries, coconut & remaining nuts. Spread this mixture over partially baked crust. Bake for 25-30 minutes more @ 350°. (Or till top is golden.)

Cool pan on wire rack, cut into bars while still warm. Cool completely.
