- Total Cooking time: 15 minutes
This is one of those dinners that, despite its humble roots remain a staple of the American dinner repertoire. It is delicious, quick, and best of all easy on the pocketbook. This particular recipe is made from scratch with no pre made seasoning and is really just as fast to make as the pre-made mixes or canned sauces which have all sorts of lovely preservatives and additives not to mention that slightly tinny taste from prolonged shelf time. Try this recipe and you will see that there is nothing like a good Sloppy Joe sandwich.
