Maryanns Soup with No Name
‘Maryann’s Sassy Sausage Soup’
- Preparation Time: 10 minutes
- Total Cooking time: 20 minutes
With the little cold snap that we in the Motherlode have experienced I began craving soup. With what I had on hand I made this recipe, and it was REALLY GOOD!
(Thanks to Marlyn Santos for the naming Maryann’s Soup!)
Amount | Measure | Ingredients |
---|---|---|
1 | box | French Onion Soup (organic broth) |
1 | can | Chicken Broth |
4 | Potatoes (peeled & diced) | |
5 | Carrots (diced) | |
1 | Onion (chopped) | |
1 | package | Aidells (Cajun style Organic Mini’s Poultery) chopped |
Cilantro to taste (chopped) |
To prepare:
Boil potatoes and carrots in large pot of salted water. In another pot bring Onion soup broth & Chicken broth to a low simmer.
When potatoes & carrots are almost tender transfer them with slotted spoon into the pot containing the broth. (Reserve water they were boiling in) Add onions and a little at a time add some of your ‘potatoe water’. Add cilantro, salt & peper to taste.
Allow to simmer for 20 miutes.
