The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for the northern and central San Joaquin Valley, until 10 AM this morning.
Visibility is one quarter mile or less in the dense fog.
Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
Additionally, the Winter Weather Advisory issued for Yosemite National Park, above the Valley floor, will expire at 10 AM this morning.
Snow remains in the forecast.
Up to five inches of additional snow accumulation is possible.
Winds could still gust up to 35 mph.
Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick, slippery and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. Slow down and use caution while driving and traveling.
If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
