Undated — Forecasters say streams and rivers throughout Northern California will continue to run swift and high as warm weather rapidly melts off the heavy snowpack in the high country.
Forecasters say the snowpack in the Sierra Nevada is the highest its been since the late 1990s.
That means rivers and lakes will be at peak stages until early June, bringing the possibility of lowland flooding along waterways.
