Update at 10 am:Â While PG&E had originally hoped to have the widespread power outage restored in the Dorrington area by 10 am, there are challenging weather conditions at that elevation. PG&E is now hoping for full restoration by 4 pm.
Original story posted at 6:54 am: Dorrington, CA — There are 3,548 PG&E customers without power in the Dorrington area of Calaveras County.
The outage started Sunday evening shortly before midnight, and PG&E reports that full restoration is anticipated by 10 am on Monday. The company reports that it is an “unplanned outage” and “a team is evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs.”
The area impacted is along the Highway 4 corridor, above Arnold.
