Calaveras Supervisors May Hit The Road

Calaveras County Supervisors may take their show on the road. The Board is considering conducting some meetings in communities outside of San Andreas, the county seat. New Supervisor Bill Claudio says conducting some meetings in outlying areas might make it easier for some rural residents to attend meetings. The legality of the proposal is being investigated by County Attorney James Jones. Supervisors also voted 4-1 in favor of bumping up the starting time of meetings from 10 a.m. to 9 a.m.
