Parry Lands Starting Full-Back Position
Philadelphia, PA — Sonora High School graduate Josh Parry will once again be returning to the starting line-up of the NFL´s Philadelphia Eagles.
Parry played backup full-back last season after starter Jon Richie suffered a knee injury that kept him sidelined for most of the season.
After being cut from the roster four times, Parry played a big role in the Eagles getting to last year´s Super Bowl.
Parry beat out Richie for the starting position this season after showing what Philadelphia Head Coach Andy Reid calls a “solid performance.”
Parry will begin the regular season rolling off of a shoulder sprain that kept him out of the Eagles´ final pre-season game against the New York Jets.
Parry graduated from Sonora in 1996 and moved on to a stellar career with San Jose State University before making it to the NFL.
