La Grange, CA – A La Grange woman was handcuffed on suspicion of hitting an elderly man during a dispute.
Tuolumne County Sheriff’s deputies recently responded in the early morning hours to a report of an argument that turned physical at a La Grange home. No specifics were given regarding what the disagreement was about. When deputies arrived at the residence in the 13600 block of Cadena Way, between Enramada Drive and Arbolada Way, east of Lake Don Pedro and north of Highway 132 in La Grange, they questioned the suspect, 44-year-old Cinthia Lana Beglinger, and the victim, an 81-year-old man, and learned that she had allegedly punched him in the face, causing visible injury.
Beglinger was taken into custody and taken to the Dambacher Detention Center in Sonora to face felony elder abuse that caused injury. She was placed on $35,000 bail.
