Highway J59 To Remain Closed Until At Least 3:30

Merced, CA — Authorities are now saying that Highway J59 will now be closed until at least 3:30 this afternoon.
CHP is on scene of a single vehicle accident on La Grange Road near Bonds Flat Road. Reports indicate that a big rig has hit a telephone pole.
Highway J59 is closed at the bridge at La Grange Road through Bonds Flat across from Don Pedro Reservoir.
Non-power lines are down on the road and SBC is also on scene to clear those away.
Traffic is being diverted to Highway 132 across Bonds Flat to J59.
