Juror Conduct Questioned in Peterson Case
There was no testimony in the Laci Peterson murder trial today, but the conduct of one juror caught the judge´s attention.
Judge Alfred Delucchi, who´s presiding over the trial, will issue a subpoena next week to see a few seconds of videotape showing Juror Number Five speaking to Laci Peterson´s brother, Brent Rocha.
Thursday, a T-V camera providing coverage of the trial caught the juror saying a few words to Rocha as they passed through a courthouse metal detector.
It isn´t immediately clear whether the court will find the actions inappropriate or whether either the defense or prosecution will challenge them.
Laci´s husband, Scott Peterson could face the death penalty or life in prison if he´s convicted of killing her and their unborn son.
