First Gas Price Drop of 2004 Reported

Gas prices have dropped for the first time this year, thanks to a boost in production and a dip in oil prices.
The semi-monthly Lundberg Survey finds the average price for all three grades of gasoline has fallen 6.5 cents to $2.04 per gallon — after rising more than 59 cents since mid-December.
The average price on the last survey, on May 21st, was slightly above two-dollars-ten-cents a gallon.
Lundberg regularly polls nearly eight thousand gas stations across the United States.
