Friday: Sonora Official Day Of Mourning

Friday, the City of Sonora will officially mourn the death of former President Ronald Reagan.
The City Council voted in special session this morning declaring Friday as an official Day of Mourning in honor of President Reagan.
City offices will be closed and staff on paid holiday, with the exception of emergency personnel.
The city joins the state and the nation in a farewell observance to the former president.
Sonora radio station AM 1450 KVML will broadcast the Reagan National Funeral service live from the Washington Cathedral beginning at 8:30 a.m. local time.
