Incoming Sonora Police Chief Named

Sonora has a new police chief.
His name is Mace McIntosh, and he starts as police chief in Sonora on June the 21st.
The Sonora City Council unanimously approved the hiring of McIntosh in their session this morning.
McIntosh comes from Red Bluff, and he says this new job has been in the works for about six months.
He also is looking forward to a productive tenure in Sonora, and working with police officers, the city, and the general public.
Mayor Marlee Powell said Sonora is lucky to have a new chief like McIntosh.
