Tentative Contract Ends SBC Strike

S-B-C Communications has agreed to a tentative contract with its more than 100-thousand union employees.
The agreement with the Communications Workers of America — including more than 30-thousand in California and Nevada — came hours after the employees returned to work following a four-day strike.
