Firefighters Battle Groveland Blaze

Groveland area firefighters are battling a 1/2 acre wildfire at this time near Highway 120.
Fire crews say the fire is burning in heavy brush at the site of a wildfire yesterday off Second Garrotte Road and Merrell Road. Fire officials are concerned with winds spreading the fire which has already jumped a power line easement.
A CDF helicopter is now being called from the Columbia Airattack Base to help battle the blaze.
