Wesson Pleads Not Guilty To Fresno Murders

The Fresno man accused of killing nine of his own children pleaded innocent today to nine counts of murder and 13 counts of sexual assault.
Marcus Wesson is accused of shooting his 25-year-old daughter and eight of his other children — ranging in age from one to 17 — in the worst mass murder in Fresno history.
The 57-year-old Wesson appeared in court today in a yellow jail jumpsuit. But attorneys for both sides agreed he could wear regular street clothes for future appearances.
Two of Wesson´s sons were in the courtroom, but made no comment.
Wesson´s trial is scheduled to begin June 21st.
