Teen Injured in Weekend Motorcycle Wreck

A 15-year-old motorcyclist from Folsom is recovering this afternoon after a weekend accident on a U.S. Forest Service road south of Dorrington.
The teenager was on a 2004 Yamaha off-highway motorcycle, according to CHP officials, when he took a curve too widely and collided with a 97 Ford pickup, driven by 47-year-old Gregory Gomes of Oakley.
The teen was flown to Doctor´s Hospital in Modesto with a broken pelvis, and a fractured right leg from the mishap.
Gomes and his two passengers were not hurt.
