Reactions Abound to Workers Compensation Reform

Reaction is coming in from the passage of landmark Worker´s Compensation legislation yesterday.
State senator Charles Poochigian credited governor Arnold Schwarznegger for bringing both parties together… and forging the consensus needed to pass the bill.
“It´s historic. It´s historic in terms of the timing, but the substance as well. It remains to be seen the extent to which this effort will solve the problem. It´s not perfect, but I think it´s a very good-faith effort by a lot of people with disparate points of view in trying to do something very special to restore California´s vitality.
Poochigian added, if it hadn´t been for the governor´s deadline, the democratically-controlled legislature would probably not have acted.
