Six Shaken After Friday Crash

A chain-reaction accident Friday afternoon left six Calaveras County residents shaken, but not injured. Two vehicles were stopped on Highway 49 just south of Treat Avenue Friday while pedestrians were crossing the road.
A third vehicle, driven by 87-year-old Viola Beishline, reportedly didn´t stop in time, and hit a 2004 Toyota, which was knocked forward into a 2003 Honda. No one was injured in the collision.
