Update at 7:57 p.m.:Â Ground crews have made their way to the fire and are currently holding it to 1.5 acres. The fire is burning at a slow rate of spread.
Original post at 7:36 p.m.Mi-Wuk Village, CA– Fire resources are on the scene of a vegetation fire located in the area of River Ranch Campground. The fire is reported to be on the north side of the canyon and burning near the railroad grade. The fire is approximately 1-5 acres in size and burning at a moderate rate of spread. Fire resources are making good progress with some air resources released from the incident that has been named the “Ranch Fire”.
