Lengthy Delays In Angels Camp Due To Paving Work

Angels Camp, CA – Motorists will face lengthy delays next week as a paving project gets underway in the Greenhorn Creek Resort area of Angels Camp in Calaveras County.

Moyle Excavation out of Jamestown will be paving Greenhorn Creek Road, forcing its closure between Selkirk Ranch Road and Smith Flat Road from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday (8/18/26) and Wednesday (8/19/26). There will be up to ten-minute delays.

Then, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday (8/20/26) and Friday (8/21/26), commuters will find detours and two-way traffic control with flaggers from Angel Oaks Road to Selkirk Ranch Road. During this work, travelers can expect up to 15-minute delays.
