Arrestee Treated For Swallowing Methamphetamine
A 24-year old Sonora man was arrested Friday on charges of being a felon possessing a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm in public, possessing a controlled substance while armed, and bringing drugs into the jail.
It happened after a traffic stop early Friday morning.
24-year-old Gregory Trejo Saucedo was reportedly a passenger in a car that was stopped and searched, with permission, by a Sonora police officer.
According to a report, the officer found a loaded semi-automatic handgun and two glass smoking pipes.
Saucedo was booked, but while in jail, he complained that he was ill and admitted to deputies that he´d swallowed eight to ten grams of methamphetamine.
He was treated at Tuolumne General Hospital and then taken back to the jail.
He was being held on 15-thousand dollars bail.
