CHP: Help Reduce Fatal Wrecks

A new and firm suggestion is coming from Lieutenant Les Quinn of the CHP´s San Andreas office, and it´s about the number of fatal traffic collisions in Calaveras County.
16 people have died in 12 accidents, Quinn says.
Half of the wrecks were caused by unsafe speed or unsafe driving and the other half were caused by people driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Quinn adds the CHP is doing everything possible but needs the help of the public.
And all you have to do is always watch the roadway, wear your seat belt, and don´t drink and drive.
