Most Yosemite Trails Reopen, Though Fire Still Burns

Most Yosemite National Park trails are open again today after being closed several days due to smoke from a wildfire.
Park officials say they´ve reopened trails to Half Dome, Yosemite and Nevada Falls. They´ve also reopened the road to Glacier Point.
Officials say the lightning-sparked Meadow Fire has grown to more than 3,000 acres. The park service is letting the fire burn because slow-moving flames are cleaning the forest floor. Portions of the Mono Meadows, Panorama, Buena Vista and Illouette trails remain closed.
