Minimal Damage in Cedar Ridge House Fire
Sponsored by:
A house fire in Cedar Ridge was quickly extinguished Thursday afternoon.
The fire was first reported around 2:25 this afternoon.
The CDF´s Kari Hubbard said the fire only caused exterior damage to the siding of the home on Ox Bow Lane near Caddo Circle.
Earlier reports that the fire had reached the attic of the home turned out to be untrue.
Flames that had spread to the nearby brush and wildland were controlled before firefighters arrived, thanks to a tree service crew that was nearby.
Hubbard says the fire´s cause is under investigation.
