288 high school seniors made the leap to graduate status last night at Dunlavy Field in Sonora. Sonora high school Co-Valedictorian Laurel Stratton said she€™s really excited. “I€™m looking forward to college next year,” she said. “It€™ll be a lot of fun.”
Co-Valedictorian Arica Nesper spoke about making “one€™s own decisions and discovering things for one€™s self.” She€™s looking forward to attending the University of Vermont.
Bret Harte and Summerville High Schools have their graduation ceremonies tonight. Calaveras High€™s graduation has been planned for next week.
