Roof Top Burglar Arrested

A Modesto-area roof-top burglar is in custody today. Officers found 25-year-old Mitchell Kuharski on the roof of a shoe store in Ceres. Officials arrested the man after responding to a burglar alarm at the Payless Shoes on East Hatch Road. Firefighters and K-9s helped in the search and arrest.
Modesto detectives hope to link Kuharski to numerous burglaries during the past two months.
