Madera Rape Suspects To Be Tried As Adults

Three teenaged boys accused of raping a 15-year-old girl and leaving her unconscious early this week may be tried as adults.
A Madera County Juvenile Court Judge denied home confinement to two of the boys, even with electronic surveillance. The judge said he saw a “callous disregard” for the alleged victim´s welfare. A third youth in the case was not in court Friday.
