Actor Conrad Will Likely Face Felony Charges

Sponsored by:

Authorities said today that actor Robert Conrad will likely face a felony charge for a wreck in which he crashed head-on into another vehicle several weeks ago, seriously injuring the driver.

Conrad was booked for investigation of drunken driving after the March 31st crash on Highway Four near Arnold.

The highway patrol says authorities would recommend to the district attorney´s office that Conrad face a felony charge of driving under the influence with injury to another person. Investigators would not release Conrad´s blood-alcohol level, but said the results will justify the felony charge. The driver of the other vehicle, 26-year-old Kevin Burnett of Forest Meadows, has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home. A call to Conrad´s agent today was not returned.
