Ceres Man Found Guilty On Eight Counts

A Ceres man accused of leading officers on a 20-mile chase after a three-week crime spree is guilty of eight felonies. The list of Dennis Lee Bruton´s convictions include kidnapping, carjacking and attempted murder. Authorities say Bruton started a car theft spree in July 2001 after he beat his girlfriend repeatedly in the head with a gun.
