More Screens Coming To Angels

Calaveras County movie-goers may have several more choices to pick from at the Angels Theater this coming fall.
Plans for a $700,000 expansion of the triplex in Angles Camp on Highway 49 are in the works.
Owner of the lone Calaveras County movie house, Petaluma-based Cinema West, say plans call for adding two more screens with stadium-style seating for 110 persons, plus digital sound and an expanded lobby area.
The work is to begin this spring, but won´t affect the existing three screens and is set to be completed by this Thanksgiving.
