Davis: State OES Has Enough Funding
Sponsored by:
The National Guard and Governor´s Office of Emergency Services say a lack of money is hurting California´s ability to prepare for terrorist attacks. But Governor Davis´ administration says the emergency services office has or will be getting enough money, and needs to spend it more efficiently.
Davis intends to announce a reorganization of Emergency Services within two weeks. His spokesman says that will end any confusion. Davis also expects to announce more federal anti-terror funding next week.
The spokesman says the combination will take care of the preparedness problems.
