The California AAA says about 3.8 million Californians will travel by car 50 miles or more during the upcoming weekend. Thats up 1.6 percent from last year.
If you plan on staying in the Mother Lode for the holiday weekend expect a lot of company. AAA says the number one holiday destination by car for Northern California residents for the holiday is Yosemite National park, followed by Disneyland, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.
